Moissanite conducts heat a lot like a diamond, so it reads positive on most standard thermal testers. Multi-testers that also check electrical conductivity can tell the difference. We sell it as moissanite, always.
Green skin usually comes from brass or copper-heavy metals. This piece is solid sterling silver. [If plated: the finish adds a layer between the silver and your skin and slows tarnish.] Silver can darken slowly over time; wipe it with a soft cloth and store it dry.
